XUN Hui-Sheng was a “Qing Yi” and “Hua Dan” player and his performing style was famed as XUN Style. He, along with MEI, SHANG and CHENG, is regarded as one of the Four Great Female Role Players. He learned Hebei Opera at the very beginning and then he changed to learn Peking Opera after his graduation. He was good at playing naughty girls and women who’re in torture. He also tried to use the steps of western dance in Chinese opera.
